What is Enrichment?
Enrichment provides learners with the opportunities to try new and varied activities that may not strictly fit into the National Curriculum, but that develop character, resilience, motivation, and encourage them to pursue wider goals.
Enrichment helps to teach life skills that benefit learners far beyond the classroom, and can develop an appreciation for cultural and community issues, teamwork and social responsibility. At Matthew Moss our aim is to provide more for all of our learners.
The purpose of enrichment at MMHS to;
- Provide opportunities to pursue outstanding personal development in line with our ethos.
- Focus our work on enriching the quality of education in relation to curriculum.
- Deepen the body of knowledge and skills needed for outstanding academic outcomes.
