Welcome to Arbor
The Arbor app offers many benefits, enabling you to have a live overview of your child’s school experience, including their timetable, attendance, behaviour, and achievements. You can access all this information conveniently from your mobile device. The app also allows you to receive school notices, report absences, and update your child’s details more easily.
It is vital that parents and carers download and setup the Arbor app to allow for effective communication.
Logging In for the First Time
Parents and carers will receive an email inviting you to setup your Arbor account. If you haven’t received an email, contact admin@mmhs.co.uk or if you prefer to phone, please use 01706 632910.
You must enter your email address to log in. Please note that this must match the email address that we hold on Arbor for you at the school. If you have any issues logging in, contact the reception team so that we can ensure our records match.
Once we hold your correct email, you should be able to login without an issue. You then need to select the correct school. The first time you log in, you will be asked to read and confirm Arbor’s terms and conditions. As a security measure you will be prompted to confirm your child’s date of birth. If you have more than 1 child at the school, please confirm the date of birth of your eldest child. Once you are logged in, you will be able to switch between children.
- Select your school.
- Read and accept the terms.
- Enter your child’s date of birth (eldest child if you have more than one).
Downloading and Setting Up
Download the app from your app store. Android users: turn on push notifications in Settings > Apps > Arbor > Notifications. iOS users: allow notifications when prompted.
Important: You need to enable notifications to get in-app messages.
In-App Messages
When you receive a message you’ll get a notification and see a badge on the profile icon. Tap to view messages. New messages are bold, read messages are normal text.
Troubleshooting
- Check your email address matches the school’s records.
- Use your eldest child’s date of birth for the first login.
- Only primary guardians can access the app.
- The app works on phones, not tablets.
- If you still have problems, contact the school, not Arbor.
