Dame Sarah Storey Visits Youth Travel Ambassadors at Matthew Moss
The MMHS Youth Travel Ambassadors recently pitched their ideas on how to encourage active travel within the community. Learners pitched to representatives of Transport for Greater Manchester and Paralympic cyclist Dame Sarah Storey. They were awarded £500 to fund their initiative!
Sarah Storey visited Matthew Moss last week for an update on their progress and was pleased to see that they were taking good care of the presentation cheque. Learners, some of whom had taken part in the recent Bikeability sessions, and staff joined her on a bike ride through the local community.
