You’ve heard of Britain’s Got Talent right? It’s that show on television that millions of people watch. Well, one of our Year 9 Learners, Lucy, is part of a group called Sign Along With Us and they won the Golden Buzzer award from David Walliams as a result of their powerful performance on the talent show.
The group combines music and sign language to unite anyone who wishes to participate. Lucy’s brother Christian is visually impaired and has cerebral palsy – neither of which stopped him performing on stage in front of thousands of people.
The warm, kind and powerful energy that is propelled from Sign Along With Us is extraordinary and we are immensely proud to know that one of our learners is part of this.
