Year 8 Learner Wins Centurion Cup in Lacrosse Championship Festival
Congratulations to Year 8 learner Jax who won the Centurion Cup with his lacrosse team, Heaton Mersey U14s!
The game formed part of the Flags Final Weekend hosted by the Rochdale Lacrosse Club which showcased a series of exciting final matches from across the North.
Jax’s team beat Mellor U14s with a fantastic score of 17-4 to top off a full season of unbeaten games.
They have even been nicknamed the ‘invincibles’ for their amazing winning streak!
