Year 8 AVECC Programme
Year 8 learners have been part of the Atom Valley Education Challenge Consortium (AVECC) Programme this academic year.
AVECC is a ground-breaking initiative, located in Rochdale, unlocking world-class higher education for tomorrow’s pioneers.
AVECC is empowering through life changing opportunities and shaping the next generation of pioneers to become leaders and innovators.
Ours learners have been attending sessions held at Oxford and Cambridge which cover a variety of topics. Throughout this academic year the sessions have widened their knowledge and experience, and the practical workshops has enhanced their critical thinking.
The final session was held in Oxford University at Pembroke College where learners had to deliver a presentation. This presentation was developed entirely by the learners and their high standards, composure and the love of learning clearly shone through.
