Year 7 Learners Attend ‘Numeracy in the News’ Workshop
Year 7 CHANGE learners took part in ‘Numeracy in the News’ workshops led by staff from The Economist newspaper.
KPMG hosted the event in Manchester and supported learners to use statistics and numbers to successfully debate current topics such as ‘Is global warming really happening?’ and ‘Do teenagers spend too many hours online?’. The event was a great opportunity for learners to get involved with such prestigious organisations and engage in healthy debates with their peers.
