Deaf Awareness Alumni Success – Maham
Maham is a former Matthew Moss learner and she has recently led a Deaf Awareness workshop at Hopwood Hall College.

Our Level 1 Beauty Therapy learners enjoyed a Deaf Awareness workshop led by fellow Level 2 student Maham Butt. Maham gave them an insight into how to communicate with our clients at the Riverside Salon and students participated in role play activities to put their newfound BSL skills into practice.
Hair and Beauty lecturer, Becki Shaw said:
“The students really enjoyed the session and were very passionate about learning more in the future. Maham is an inspiration to our department and we are very proud to have her as a student in Hair and Beauty.”
