Connecting and Communicating at our Sign Language Club

Connecting and Communicating at our Sign Language Club

We are shining a spotlight on our wonderful Sign Language Club here at Matthew Moss!

Learners at the club have been learning British Sign Language to better communicate with their peers with hearing difficulties. The club enables learners to learn from each other, gain a wonderful new skill and spread empathy.

At Matthew Moss, we have the Hearing Impaired Base which attracts a large number of learners with hearing difficulties to Matthew Moss. This really enriches our school community with learners able to learn from their peers and communicate via sign language.

Our Year 7 learners have been using their new skills to communicate with their classmates with hearing difficulties.

Amazing work everyone!
