Checkmate!
History was made this week right here at MMHS! On Wednesday, we were thrilled to host Rochdale’s very first cross-school chess tournament!
A massive shoutout to Edgar Wood and Newhouse Academy for joining us and making the inaugural event a huge success. With 40 players battling it out, the atmosphere was electric and the turnout was absolutely fantastic!
Get ready for the next one—the competition has officially begun! 🏆
