We are shining a light on Laura Chisnall, a former Matthew Moss student and current English teacher.
Life at Matthew Moss
Laura left Matthew Moss in 2011 and praised the supportive school environment which allowed her to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher. In particular, she highlighted the support of Mrs Ryan and Ms O’Neill who helped her embark on her teaching journey.
They were immensely supportive of me and helped me work out a plan of action to get into my dream job.
Life after Matthew Moss
Laura’s love for education and dedication to learning has been a clear constant throughout her life. She has undertaken three programmes of study including her Bachelors in Drama and English Literature from the University of Huddersfield, her PGCE in Secondary Drama from Manchester Metropolitan University and most recently, her Masters in Education from the University of Bolton.
Currently, Laura is working as an English teacher at a college in Bolton. Alongside her full time job, she is continuing her studies further and pursuing her Doctorate of Education at the University of Bolton.
