Dylan Harris – Media and Communications Student at Edge Hill University
We are highlighting the fantastic achievements of Dylan Harris, a former Matthew Moss student. Dylan is a current final year Media and Communications student at Edge Hill University.
Life at Matthew Moss
Whilst at Matthew Moss, Dylan benefited from the hugely supportive environment which he said enabled him to get the GCSE grades he needed. He spoke of the academic struggles he faced towards the end of his time at school and noted the role of D6 in helping him to overcome these challenges.
The help of D6 was key to my success now.
Dylan thanked the support of his teachers in helping him get to where he is today.
I’d like to personally say thank you to Mr Sanders who was my Media teacher. I don’t think I would have taken the route into media if it wasn’t for you!
He also highlighted Ms King-Jagger as someone who was fundamental to his time at Matthew Moss.
She really inspired me to get the grades I needed!
Life after Matthew Moss
After leaving Matthew Moss in 2020, Dylan went on to study Media Production at Hopwood Hall College where he achieved an amazing Distinction grade.
Currently, Dylan is a final year student at Edge Hill University where he studies Media and Communication. He is just six months away from graduating!
Dylan’s choice to pursue Media and Communication further after leaving school shows the clear impact of his teachers at Matthew Moss.
