BBC Bitesize 2023
New research indicates that 66% of young people would like to know more local career options and 65% want to find out about potential roles available to them across the UK.
The BBC guest panel, delivered in partnership with local BBC radio stations, included a BBC TV producer, along with panellists from the local community. Sannah Adam, is an inspiring boxing coach at the Amir Khan gym in Bolton. She outlined her career story from studying for a Law degree to her journey into the boxing ring.
The BBC Share Your Career Story supports schools by highlighting the range of career opportunities, both locally and across the UK, including the BBC’s new talent schemes and apprenticeships.
The Bitesize Schools Tour is to raise awareness of the opportunities available to secondary pupils and give them practical advice on how they could pursue a career in this area.
All learners from years 7, 8 and 9 joined in this exciting interactive careers show. This provided an excellent opportunity for our learners to engage with their future to understand their Gatsby benchmarks.
