Year 9 Student Stars as the Face of Breaking Barriers ‘Blindside’ Campaign
Our Year 9 student Courtney-Leigh starred as the face of last years’ Breaking Barriers ‘Blindside’ campaign.
She attended a photography shoot at Rochdale AFC where a series of images were captured for the promotion of the ‘Blindside’ theatre production.
Courtney-Leigh can be seen on a variety of promotional materials including the production’s web page, promotional banners and the Breaking Barriers Instagram page.
The monologue, which has been used throughout school, explores the topic of bullying within a school football team. It tells the story of Summer, a young girl who struggles to cope with a relentless stream of harmful social media messages.
Well done Courtney-Leigh for getting involved in such an important project. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
