World Book Day 2023
Our learners have been celebrating World Book Day by enjoying different tasks and activities including listening to other learners reading excerpts from their favourite books (Alex Rider, The Hunger Games, S.T.A.G.).
A trust-wide competition was held where learners redesigned the cover of their favourite book and staff got in on the excitement with a “Guess the Character” game. Based on clues, learners needed to find over 20 book characters in school. Members of staff were wearing stickers featuring different characters’ names and prizes were awarded to the winning learners.
