Exciting Engineering Escapade!
Learners in Years 9, 10 and 11 had the fantastic opportunity to take part in live, interactive “Engineering for Life” shows brought to us by the amazing people of Science Made Simple. We used ultrasound scanners to see inside the necks of brave volunteers, witnessed what happens inside nappies and demonstrated how asteroids could be prevented from colliding with planet Earth! These shows allowed learners to understand what it means to be an engineer, and opened our eyes to all of the different disciplines and avenues that a career in engineering might bring.
