BP’s Ultimate STEM Challenge
As part of British Science Week, learners in Years 7 – 9 at Matthew Moss worked on projects to help develop their local area and to help with the push towards net zero carbon emissions. Ideas have ranged from reverse vending machines to deal with plastic waste, to the development of green roofs to help clean our air and encourage wildlife to return. All ideas are going to feed into a new Sustainability Club to be launched later in the year. The best projects are being entered into BP’s Ultimate STEM Challenge, £5,000 worth of grants available for winning entries.
